I am planning a trip in August to dive Lake Malawi (Central Africa) with daughter from NYC (her idea) and friend from Va. It will probably be a 2-wk trip, since it is 2 days on the road to get there via Addis Ababa. It is alleged to be relatively inexpensive once one gets there.
Has anyone been? Does anyone want to join up?
The diving looks to be warm & easy, and the lake has the largest diversity of fresh water fish in the world. Visit to wild game reserve would probably be worked in. Maybe a day in Ethiopia for the plane change.
