I agree from the standpoint of poor planning..they should have let people know 30 days or more out that the event was a no go. I know the record is more than twice what they were expecting anyway, so why bother? why not just make it a scaled down event? I wouldn't waste $3000 bringing a guy from Guinness down if I knew that my best case scneario wouldnt hack it..unless they put a twist on it..most divers in the water doing __(insert your answer like the old 'Match Game' tv show ). They should have refunded the money, bottom line. William (Deep 6) told me earlier in the week he was working with the owners on either an IDC specific event for Gilboa to make up for this or something this wknd. He said he'd post details once he knew more.

Hope everyone has fun at the meeting tomorrow..unfortunately, I won't be able to make this one, but if anyone has a video camera and would be willing to film the presentation on vintage gear and post it to the site, I'd love to watch it!

I was not able to make the meeting as well. My son is in his eigth year of wrestling and will be starting his freshman year. He has been working out like a mad man all summer. He came to me today and asked if I would take him to Roncalli to work out tonight. The coach there is a four time IHSAA state champ and good guy.
Unfortunately for me, my kid comes before me. I hope to make the next one...
