    Hey Bill,

What do the dive flags by our usernames mean?

Haven't seen any reference to it in my forum dives.

    Hi there,
I just received my Open Water Cert back in October and and excited about getting a decent amount of dives in this year. Would be interested in getting all of the details about upcoming dives through the Indy Dive Club. Let me know what information you need from me to become a member.

    Thanks,

    Justin

Bill, I talked with Franklin Central this morning, they are not renting out their pool at this time due to mechanical issues, i am suppose to get a call from Beech Grove HS later this evening... I also decided to call the YMCA near Greenwood, the problem with this place is that their pool is only 9' deep although it is still usable for basic scuba things like checking weights and new equipment. They said that they only rent out the pool on week ends (Saturday & Sunday) from 7:30p-9:30p and the total charge is $100 which includes 2 lifeguards. So depending on how many would want to go would effect the indivual price, If 20 divers would go then the cost is $5 each for the 2 hours.
Like all pools they would have to be booked in advance and this does not require to have any Instructors, Dive Masters or Master Scuba divers to be present since they are furnishing the lifeguards, so anyone can participate as long as they are certified divers who want to brush up on their skills. I plan to go see their pool to make sure that is a good size pool to handle 10-? divers. I plan to inform Jimmi of this information, I contacted the YMCA near divers supply east to gather info from them as well and should have that info tonight and i will send you the info that i find out. I am getting ready to leave and will be gone all day until 4pm. If i am over by divers supply while i am out and about i will drop off the dive club members book at the shop

Hidden Paradise Quarry

by Deep6 on 05-22-2010 at 09:24 AM
Hidden Paradise offers Dream lake, a 15 acre spring fed rock quarry with an average depth of 25 feet. The deepest point in Dream Lake is a sump hole 18 feet in diameter and drops to 35 feet in depth. The visibility will vary but generally you will see 10-15 foot visibility and occasionally up to 25-30 foot. There are a few small runabouts, a sail boat, a mini bus and a few articles left by the quarry company. If your lucky you will surprise a paddle fish during your dive along the south wall. The
